Some QRs when scanned will have standardized placeholder values in them in the form of ***, these values will always be in the Additional Data Fields (Tag 62) section of the QR string. These placeholders indicate that the QR is asking the scanner to supply values on top of said placeholders. They can be overridden by supplying the respective fields according to the tag that has the placeholder.
