Disable dashboard access

Disable PayMongo Dashboard access for your child accounts to keep the recipient experience fully white-labeled.

Who this section is for

Platforms building fully white-labeled experiences on the Create an account path, where the recipient should never see PayMongo's brand.

What it is

Dashboard access is on by default: once a child account is activated, its authorized representative can sign in to their own PayMongo Dashboard for that account. This feature disables it for your child accounts, so the parent operates the account end-to-end and the recipient never sees PayMongo.

Current state

📘

Available by email request

Email [email protected] from an authorized contact on your platform, with:

  1. Your parent account ID (org_…).
  2. A statement that you want to disable dashboard access for your child accounts.
  3. The scope: all your child accounts, or only specific account IDs. If you already have existing child accounts, say whether to disable access for those too.

Roadmap

🚀

Coming soon

A self-serve toggle in the Dashboard, so you can disable dashboard access for your child accounts without a support request (Q4 2026).

Frequently asked

Can I disable dashboard access for one child account rather than all of them?

Yes. Say so in your request to support and name the account IDs.

Does dashboard access work in test mode?

No. Accounts created with a test secret key are mock responses and are not real accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to. Use live keys to exercise this flow.

What if the representative never signs in?

Nothing happens. No dashboard user exists until someone completes the sign-in steps, and there is no expiry or reminder.
