Use dashboard analytics to review total sales, net revenue, and payment method breakdowns for a date range.
You will learn how to use the Reports page in the PayMongo Dashboard to monitor sales, net revenue, and payment methods.
Who this page is for
Use dashboard analytics if you work in finance or leadership and need quick access to business reporting. You do not need coding knowledge to use these views.
What dashboard analytics includes
Dashboard analytics is on the Reports page, under Analytics in the PayMongo Dashboard. It answers common business questions for the date range you pick: Today, This month, This year, or a Custom range.
The page includes:
- Total sales for the sales trend over the selected period
- Net revenue breakdown for how gross revenue becomes net revenue after fees, withholding tax, refunds, disputes, and adjustments
- Payment method breakdown for the most popular payment methods in the selected period
- Export for downloading the payments in the selected period
When to use dashboard analytics
Use dashboard analytics when you need answers quickly and the Reports page already covers the question.
Common examples include:
- Reviewing daily revenue
- Checking payment method breakdowns
Basic workflow
- In the PayMongo Dashboard, go to Analytics → Reports.
- Pick the date range that matches your question.
- Review Total sales, Net revenue breakdown, and Payment method breakdown for that period.
- Export the payments if your team needs a copy.
