Opt-in features
See which opt-in features exist, whether your platform qualifies, and how to request access.
Who this section is for
Business owners, product leads, compliance teams, and engineers at businesses building platforms that need behavior beyond the default Onboarding-as-a-Service flow — for example, applying a default capability set to every new child, or running your own KYC and skipping PayMongo's. This section lists what is available today, what your platform needs to qualify, and what is coming.
Overview
Opt-in features extend Onboarding-as-a-Service in four areas.
| Feature | Today | Coming soon |
|---|---|---|
| Auto-configuration | Requested by email; PayMongo applies the defaults | Self-serve in the Dashboard |
| Partner Verification | Requested by email after a process review | Self-serve request from the Dashboard |
| Account capabilities | Activation defaults only (wallet + QR Ph) | Request and review per child via API + Dashboard |
| Disable dashboard access | Requested by email | Self-serve toggle in the Dashboard |
How to request
Coming soonSelf-serve flows from the PayMongo Dashboard are targeted for Q4 2026. Until then, request Auto-configuration and Partner Verification by email; capability management for linked accounts is not yet available.
Send an email to [email protected] from an authorized contact on your platform. Include:
- Your parent account ID (
org_…). - The feature you want to enable (or disable, for dashboard access).
- A brief description of the use case and the scope (all children, a subset, or specific account IDs).
- For Partner Verification only: documentation of your existing KYC process, applicable licenses or authorizations, and the contact for your compliance lead.
PayMongo will reply with the next steps, including any process review or paperwork required before enabling the feature.
What's next
- Auto-configuration — apply a default capability set to every new child.
- Partner Verification — submit your own KYC results and skip PayMongo's identity verification.
- Account capabilities — enable specific products (wallets, additional payment methods, and more) on a child.
- Disable dashboard access — disable recipient Dashboard access for fully white-labeled experiences.
